THE TEAM
Our team consists of seasoned professionals with expertise in finance, sustainability, and technology. Each member brings unique skills to the table, driving our mission forward.
Our Journey
Our journey began not just with investing, but with a desire to understand the power of informal economies: how they function, create value, and sustain millions of livelihoods across South and Southeast Asia.
Rooted in fair trade and microfinance, especially in India, we discovered a vast system operating without formal contracts or guarantees; built by trust and powered by women.
Through years on the ground, we learned how credit can unlock potential, how relationships drive rural economies, and how technology, when tailored to local contexts, can be truly transformative.
As our work evolved, so did our focus: from financial inclusion to the broader rural ecosystem supporting platforms for small retailers, digital tools for farmers, and services that improve access and efficiency.
Later, we turned our attention to another informal system: the urban waste economy, where resilience and innovation turn discarded materials into new resources.
Our history is more than a timeline; it’s a philosophy. One built on proximity, collaboration, and the belief that impact, and performance grow stronger together. Today, our investments reflect this journey: embracing financial inclusion, rural platforms, and circular economies.

OUR THREE INVESTMENT THEMES
Discover how we focus on financial inclusion, rural ecosystems,
and climate resilience to drive long-term impact
FINANCIAL INCLUSION
Financial inclusion is transforming lives across India and southeast Asia, especially in rural areas where access to formal credit has long been limited. Today the value of the Indian micro-retail financial services alone, cross 800 Bn US$, serving well beyond 100 million borrowers. India is also emerging as one of the fastest-growing insurance markets globally, driven by rural penetration. At the forefront of this change, CreditAccess network companies are empowering over 6 million women entrepreneurs and small businesses across India and Southeast Asia. Through tailored credit, insurance, payment, and savings solutions, we aim to bridge financial gaps and unlock the full potential of micro and small businesses.

RURAL ECOSYSTEM
Allocating capital and innovation in the rural ecosystem unlocks the potential of a market that contributes nearly half of India’s GDP and employs 350 million people, representing 68% of the national workforce. The rural economy has experienced annual growth rates between 8% and 12%. However, traditional supply chains remain inefficient due to long distances, multiple intermediaries, and limited access to credit and technology. We contribute to the growth of innovative companies addressing these challenges by building phygital, disintermediated supply and delivery chains, connecting farmers and rural SMEs directly to markets. Our key objective is to support the rise of India’s leading B2B platform for the agri-food value chain, integrating logistics, financing, e-commerce and distribution services.
RECYCLING AND WASTE VALUE CHAINS
India faces a significant waste management challenge due to its rapid urbanization and population growth. The country generates over 62mn tons of waste annually, of which only about 30% is treated. Asia produces the most e-waste and plastic waste worldwide while driving the world consumption of fats and vegetable oils. Waste generation is expected to increase by more than 300% by 2050. The sector lacks a centralized institutional leader, and the supply chain remains highly fragmented and disorganized. We extract wealth from waste and promote circularity by re-engineering the waste management and by developing effective and profitable recycling value chains.
